With nearly thirty years of business with farmers and commercial elevators, Valley View Agri-Systems offers extensive experience in grain storage construction and design for both on-farm and commercial systems. With locations now in Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri and the main office in Arkansas, Jeff Fjelstul, Valley View Agris-Systems Midwest General Manager, says they have sold product in over 30 states since the business began in 1984.
Prior to joining Valley View in 2020, Fjelstul worked for AGI SureTrack. “My relationship with these AGI leaders has always been a two-way street, open, honest communication that makes Valley View and AGI better business partners,” Fjelstul says.
In a recent business decision, AGI SureTrack is now committing themselves to a dealer model to assist in brand and market share development. “AGI Suretrack is very proactive with ideas, creative with technology, and it is great to have a partner who we could trust,” Fjelstul says, “AGI just felt like it was going to be a great partner, aggressive, great productions and great people.”
Valley View Agri-Systems strives to meet their core values and prides themselves on serving a wide range of customers within the industry. With numerous business acquisitions throughout the last thirty years, Valley View Agri-Systems have served customers with a wide range of farm products including grain bins, portable equipment, loop systems, grain bin management and more. Fjelstul says, “We also sell commercial bins and material handling equipment, mixed flow dryers, and any brand AGI SureTrack sells, we focus on selling those products.”
With each new partnership, a transitional phase begins before business and marketing plans take place. As a partner of AGI, Fjelstul says he is looking forward to the Dealer Success Program and the tools and benefits with the partnership program.
As Valley View Agri-Systems continues moving forward and utilizing tools like the partnership with AGI SureTrack, Fjelstul says the company goals are growth, market share, new customer base and they are pushing for AGI to be a common name in the Midwest. “We have begun expanding our footprint further into Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and Wisconsin, but we are not stopping there. We plan on going to wherever our customer base takes us,” Fjelstul says.
The goal of exposing the AGI SureTrack and Valley View Agri-Systems includes sharing the brands quality, what the brand has to offer, and focusing taking care of the customer. Fjelstul says, “It seems like a simple goal. But it takes the right people, attitude, leadership, and partners to drive success in new territories.” AGI plays a vital part in Valley View Agri-System’s product success, offerings, and technology and Fjelstul says his team plans to continue using the partnership to change the industry in a positive way.
Like many other companies, to get product information to new customers and expand into new territories, Valley View believes in face-to-face conversations and in-person connections. As a member of the Springfield Illinois Chamber of Commerce and with an incredibly unique opportunity, Valley View will be showcasing their display bin with the AGI SureTrack systems and other TV displays at the Illinois State Fair August 12th through August 22nd. “We are excited to be a part of the fair and to be advocating for agriculture,” Fjelstul says.
