Work on the Applications team to build and improve the software that AGI SureTrack customers use. The Applications team within AGI SureTrack creates the applications that collect and translate data from our Agricultural IoT devices to information that our customers can use and make sense of. This will range from the ETL operations we perform when we receive data from our hardware devices, to building out the APIs that serve our applications, to creating the interfaces that our customers experience, all while building internal tools to help maintain our dedication to quality. Independently responsible for developing complex applications.  Mentor peers, provide guidance in code review, take part in design and architecture discussions, as well as the agile story breakdown process. Plan and design various computer systems by gathering operational requirements, performing analysis among competing tools and solutions, designing solutions, and leading design reviews. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.  Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build front-end systems, and use Linux, Nginx, PHP, Node.js, MySQL, and Redis to develop the applications, the server, and databases that make up the back-end system. Modify existing software to fix bugs, allow it to adapt to new hardware, improve performance, and add new features; confer with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities and performance requirements; store, retrieve, and manipuluate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements; develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures; and monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation. Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Software Engineering Manager.

Requires Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and three years experience with full-stack software engineering using Javascript, PHP and AWS; building front-end systems using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS; and building back-end systems using Node.js (Typescript), AWS, MySQL databases, Linux, Nginx and Redis, and DynamoDB.
