Continuous improvements are necessary with technology and AGI’s SureTrack is no exception. SureTrack PRO 2.0 is the latest version of a valuable tool processors, retailers, grain managers and merchandisers have had access to for the past couple of years.

The platform allows communication and transparency for growers and processors. Growers can see cash bids, premiums, and discounts all in one place. Contracts can be sent for verification with one click. Processors have the ability to see storage data from those growers who opt-in to data sharing. Therefore, they can view who has grain available and conditioned at this moment; this data sharing also allows them to provide premiums for BinManager sourced product.

Growers can opt to share specific data with processors, i.e. specific fields or bins. This allows buyers looking for a specific moisture, starch, protein, etc. to have a quick summary of what producers have product available. Gone are the old days of dialing growers over and over to fill contracts.

Along with BinManager conditioning systems AGI also provides testing. Starch, oil, amino acids, and falling number are just a few data points that are available for processors to view in PRO. The open-source approach of a one-click contract allows contracts to be sent with dates, bushels, and a cash bid. Buyers can also post an ad in the public marketplace section for what they are looking for and growers are able to see those in one space.

As different grain specifications begin to weigh heavily on purchasing, traceability becomes a largely weighted factor to processors. SureTrack PRO allows for traceability from “seed to fork.”

The platform also has a one-click output function which allows for transparency in accounting. Allowing SureTrack PRO to export all contract data saves countless time during record keeping. This also allows for a quick way to reconcile any differences in the history of a contract if the need arises.

After researching all the benefits of the program it could be assumed that the installation of the hardware and software would be a technological holdup.
