Continuing a two-decade commitment to the farmers they serve, AGI SureTrack has delivered the next generation of farm management with the release of SureTrack FARM 2.0.
On Monday, April 20th, in SureTrack fashion, a virtual media day unveiled the newest generation of SureTrack to major agriculture media outlets across the US and Canada, showcasing improvements and the sleek, user-friendly design of the new agisuretrack.com website and user-resource AGI SureTrack Community.
“We set out last year to deliver a better product to our customers, to bring forth (Brand Ambassador) Todd’s vision of empowering farmers and growers,” says AGI SureTrack Senior Software Engineering Manager, David Duncan, “After six months of hard work, and over a month of early access testing from internal users, we successfully launched the new version of SureTrack FARM 2.0.”
The new platform segments SureTrack solutions into five pillars for convenience and easily accessible data. The pillars: Fields, Equipment, Market, Day-to-Day, and Traceability add the intrinsic value of real-time management that can be implemented from any internet connected device, while allowing farmers who utilize the entire platform to create their own value propositions through streamlined, high-value market access opportunities and the industry’s only seed bag through storage traceability solution on the market.
The Fields pillar allows farmers to track and collect real-time machine and agronomic data through the seed selection tool, FieldDataManager and Farmobile’s PUC™ device. Each hardware solution integrates software to create profitable decision-making opportunities by accounting for every input and action on a field by field basis.
The Equipment pillar helps to pinpoint critical production practices and increase profit margins in every season on the farm: planting, growing, harvesting, storing and marketing. The hardware solutions: BinManager®, TankManager™, DryerManager™ and Perten 9500 elevate management opportunity on the farm…from the living room. And the management opportunities continue to grow as SureTrack Ready equipment continues to grow. Coming soon, look for handling, seed treaters and aeration options.
The Markets pillar ties a season’s hard work to dollars and cents. The tool streamlines marketing and is all about discovery—the ability to seize opportunities for commodities and specialty crops within a practical geography. And markets tracks applications and contracts to ensure a current schedule of delivery obligations.
Coming soon, the Day to Day and Traceability pillars position farmers to use accounting business tools to track profitability at the field-level, in real-time, while leveraging the complete platform as the ultimate track and trace solution for grain—from seed bag to processor storage. The Traceability tool bridges the on-farm traceability gap to not only introduce new processor premiums, but also streamline the recordkeeping process.
The launch also introduced the new AGI SureTrack Community, an online resource platform built from the experience, questions and solutions of farmers…for other farmers. The resource will serve as a communication and training vehicle for other important AGI SureTrack events, releases and updates, such as 2.0 training.
The release of 2.0 isn’t the only new launch on the horizon for the SureTrack team’s 2020 roadmap, Sears says, “At the end of the day, what drives the most revenue back to the farm is going to dictate where we invest research and development resources. Driving revenue back to the farm always has been and always will be our roadmap at AGI SureTrack.”
