Employee: Jennifer Fly
Department: Administration
Q: When did you start with AGI SureTrack (formerly IntelliFarms)?
A: July 2019
Q: What is your role at AGI SureTrack?
A: I am the first stop for visitors and callers. I direct them to the appropriate people and help answer questions as they come in. I also assist different departments when needed.
Q: What’s the best thing about your job?
A: The best thing would be all the different things I get to do. I love to learn new things and this position has given me the opportunity to do that. I have always been a people person and worked in customer service. I enjoy helping our HR Department with everyday tasks. Also, when I was in college I took some marketing and accounting classes but with life-changing events I was never able to pursue those; this position allows me to help them with tasks which gives me more experience.
Q: What’s been one of your proudest moments at AGI SureTrack?
A: Being asked to be the Employee Spotlight.
Q: Did you grow up on a farm?
A: No, not on a farm but in a small town. Growing up I was around my best friend’s horses quite a bit. I was able to help her at rodeos and she taught me a lot about them. I also married into a family who raised cattle! I use to go with my husband every chance I got to help with everything possible.
Q: If so, what was your favorite chore around the farm?
A: One of my favorite things to do was help with vaccinations while they worked cattle.
Q: If so, what was your least favorite?
A: The ones I didn’t get to help with.
Q: When you’re not in the AGI SureTrack office, where is your favorite place to be?
A: Spending time with my family and friends! I also enjoy teaching dance in Butler, MO at the Connie White School of Dance. I have danced from age 3 to the present. Growing up I competed in many competitions in a number of different states. I am lucky to still have dance as a part of my life today.
Q: Do you have pets?
A: We have a cat, Bubba. He is a big cat!
Q: What’s your favorite line from a movie?
A: That’s easy, “We’re burning daylight!” (John Wayne, The Cowboys)
Q: If you could choose anyone as your mentor, who would it be?
A: My parents have been since the day I was born.
Q: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
A: First and foremost, put it into saving for our girls.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
A: Immortality!
Q: If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
A: I would say my family, Jeremy, Jozie, Jorja, but if I was STUCK I would not want them to be too. So, I'll have to go with coffee, a knife and a hammock.
Q: What advice would you give to recent new hires?
A: This is an absolute wonderful place to work, we are lucky to have this opportunity in our lives!
